These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Reapertoire, a service operated by Roman Kozdrowicz ("Reapertoire", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the Reapertoire app (the "App") or related services (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
You need an account to use most features. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep your login credentials secure, and that you are responsible for activity under your account. Authentication is handled by Amazon Cognito.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use.
You agree not to post content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable, and not to impersonate others, upload others' copyrighted material without permission, spam, scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the Service. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior.
You can report inaccurate data, bad photos, or objectionable content using the report button (the exclamation icon) inside the App, or by emailing support@reapertoire.com. We review reports and may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, and we aim to act on reports of objectionable content promptly.
The App, its design, and the Reapertoire name and logo are owned by us and protected by law. Except for the license above, these Terms grant you no rights in our intellectual property.
Heat ratings, ingredient notes, allergen information, and reviews are user-generated opinions, not professional, medical, or safety advice. Always check the actual product label before consuming a product. Consume spicy foods at your own risk.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reapertoire will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (Profile → Settings → Delete profile). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute not resolved informally or in small-claims court will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Massachusetts. The Apple-required terms below also apply on iOS.
These Terms are between you and Reapertoire only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide support or handle warranty claims, and is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms with the right to enforce them. Your use of the App must comply with the Apple Media Services Terms of Use.

This policy explains what Reapertoire collects, why, and your choices. We keep collection minimal — only what the App needs to work — and we do not sell your personal data or use advertising or third-party analytics/tracking SDKs.
The App asks for your camera and photo library access so you can photograph or pick a bottle image, and optionally notifications. You can grant or revoke these in your device settings.
Your data is stored with the providers above, primarily on servers in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the U.S. and other countries. Data is transmitted over encrypted connections.
We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your personal profile and reviews as described below. Backups and legally required records may persist for a limited period.
Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK under GDPR and California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we do not sell personal data, there is nothing to opt out of in that respect. To exercise any right, use the in-app deletion tool or email support@reapertoire.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
You can delete your account at any time in the App (Profile → Settings → Delete profile). This deletes your profile, reviews, notes, ratings, and favorites. Sauces you contributed to the shared catalog remain (so the catalog stays intact for others) but are no longer attributed to you. Your sign-in credentials are removed. You can also email support@reapertoire.com to request deletion.
Reapertoire is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the effective date above and, for material changes, provide notice where appropriate.
